I’m Fadilah Kasmani, the founder and designer behind The Soleil Girl, a Singapore-based slow fashion label and a lifelong dream come true. After years in business consultancy and brand marketing, I chose to build a brand where every piece is designed by me and made with intention. Our garments are produced by a family- and women-owned workshop in Indonesia, who have been crafting our clothes for the past six years.
OUR BRAND STORY:
The Soleil Girl was born from my love for creative self-expression and a growing awareness of the darker, unethical side of the garment industry. Learning about the women behind our clothes pushed me to rethink how I consume and create fashion. Today, The Soleil Girl is an ode to intentional living and slow-made pieces that honour the hands behind every seam.

“The Soleil Girl” is inspired by the warmth and free-spirited nature of everyday women—someone who radiates gently and is drawn to stories, destinations, and experiences. It reflects an ongoing journey of evolving and becoming who we’re meant to be.
OUR DESIGN INSPIRATION:
Our designs come from everyday moments we love: a quiet walk, a heartfelt conversation, details in art and architecture, and always, nature. Each piece is meant to feel like a small, wearable memory.
OUR PROUDEST MOMENT SO FAR:
Meeting customers in real life and hearing how they love and live in our pieces is what keeps us going. Their honest feedback and stories are constant reminders of why we chose this path.
OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE:
We hope The Soleil Girl feels like a gentle escape—a space where time slows down a little. Looking ahead, we’d love to collaborate with regional lifestyle brands to create meaningful, beautiful projects together.
